Lyrics by Nicole Cassandra Smit

Featuring a selection of lyrics from her new album "Third In Line" this zine has been typeset and risograph printed by Typewronger in blue and fluro-pink and comprises of a folded sheet of 140gsm A3 recycled cartridge paper. The zine opens out to reveal a portrait of Nicole originally taken by John Mackie, which we have separated and reproduced in fluro-pink and blue to create this spectacular print.

Risograph printing is an ecologically friendly medium, where natural bran oil based inks are pushed through a stencil on an ink drum onto uncoated paper. As a result the ink can smudge and transfer - if you're not careful it can even come off on your hands! This is the nature of the medium, so be aware there will always be variations between copies and though we are as careful as possible the odd smudge or bit of transferred ink is always a likelihood.
